My most recent non-personal work has been as an official channel artist for friend and YouTuber Spaceman Scott, creating fully animated segments, environmental renders, and helping with video editing.
Below are the videos I've worked on, including my commentary, development pictures, and renders.
For this video, I was asked to animate Scott Cawthon's introductory boss speech with the adventure animatronics (21:45) and create the renders for the thumbnail.
I had a lot of fun animating the speech, there was a lot of back-and-forth between me and Scott as I kept him updated with work in progress videos and screenshots. He gave me a lot of creative freedom when it came to the framing and shot composition, so I got to experiment and try something more cinematic with the camera angles and movements.
My favourite aspect was giving the adventure animatronics some personality, and trying to fit it all into such a short clip.
For this one, Scott tasked me with creating some internal environments for his analog horror section at the end (4:38:18), and I helped him with the VHS filter effect seen in certain parts of the video. I worked pretty closely with him, using provided references to build scenes close enough to his vision that he was then able to take and edit for the video. I used some assets from TheMask Scenebuild Megapack while making these, with slight edits to the textures and models as needed.
As a little easter egg, I included a couple of references to my projects on the corkboard in the hallway, namely a photo of Dotty seen in Reclamation, and a manual page for the maintenance tool in Charlotte's Funhouse. Neither of these are particularly clear in the final video however.
